What to do?

At my church the women get together to do something together quarterly. This last time they did a "my favorite things". You are suppost to bring something that you love, and then pass it along to someone. I love so many things, but of course...I do love flowers the most.

Since I am poor, and flowers aren't free, I got some pears out of my fridge. I had some left over moss from a previous flower job. Here is the result....

I want to make one for my kitchen table!

Heather

Heather is one of my greatest friends. She wanted something for her sister.

I have always wanted to do an arrangement in a pumpkin. I thought now was as good of time as any!

Brown/Glass wedding

This wedding was so much fun to do. The theme was fall. Melanie (who I grew up with) was such a laid back bride. She basically gave me the go ahead on whatever I wanted to do.

I am TERRIBLE at remembering to take pictures. Wedding stress me out to the max (just ask my husband). So when it comes time to take the pictures, I always forget. I forgot to take pictures of her bouquet, but I did get some of the centerpieces.

I think they turned out great. I was just in charge of the flowers. They got those gorgeous urns from the Wright House. I think the flowers and urn really complement each other!

Hopefully they got some pictures of the bridal flowers.

New Wedding!

This last wedding I did was great! I loved the bride, and her mom...they are great to work with. It helped that they had such great taste!
Her colors were pink/purple/lime green! Such fun summer colors. I don't have any pictures of the centerpieces...yet! Here are some of their wedding pictures, that kinda showcase their flowers.
Her Bouquet! She wanted all different kinds of flowers, and ALL purple. I think it turned out nice!

The Grooms boutonniere. So cute!

These are her bridesmaids, and their flowers. I love carnations in groupings!

Guest book table arrangement! This was probably my favorite flower arrangement for this wedding. I just love the simplicity, and the pinkness of it!

Here is a picture of one of the mothers corsages. I love all that color!

As soon as I find a picture of the centerpieces, I will post!

Just a little something something...

After doing a couple of weddings. I had some extra flowers. My mom, and mother in law...well actually our PARENTS are amazing. They truly are so wonderful. We love them. I am always trying to figure out a way to thank them...but I can never do enough.
So I decided to make them something with these flowers. I thought they turned out really cute.

Wedding

ok, so I did this Wedding back in...like Janurary. I am just getting around to posting. I guess I better get better. I know everyone keeps telling me that I need to take better pictures of my flowers. The thing is that by the time I am done with a wedding I am a mess, my house is a mess, and I am just plain tierd. I just can't talk myself into doing a photo session with my flowers. So everyone will just have to live with my crumy photos.

Baby Shower

I got the pleasure of doing my favorite cousin Whitney's baby shower centerpiece. The lady who was planning the shower with me had the brilliant idea. She actually had 3 balls planned...but it was going to take WAY too many flowers. So I shortened it to ONE. I think it still turned out cute.
I used to HATE carnations...but now the are one of my favorite flowers. They look SO cute bunched together like this. They are a cheap way to makes something look awesome!

Sample

My brother in law Sean Pitts is finally getting married! He wonderful bride to be is Mary Davis...I couldn't be happier. She is just great. They were nice enough to let me do their wedding flowers. They chose BRIGHT spring colors. This is their sample arrangement. It isn't exactly what I wanted, but I was limited in my flower choices. I think when we are doing the actual wedding ones we will do different greenery, and more flowers. I can't wait!

GREEN!

I just LOVE the color green, and there is nothing cuter than a green arrangement! The first one has artichoke hearts in it, I just LOVE it! I had so much fun doing it. The second one was for a funeral, I think the people will really enjoy it.
